A proposed merger between the British arm of T-Mobile and Orange is set to gain approval from European regulators, paving the way for the creation of Britain’s largest mobile-phone operator.
The European Commission is expected to fast-track the deal after the two companies offered key concessions to ease the concerns of competition and industry watchdogs in the UK.
